With an SDDL of SDDL_DEVOBJ_SYS_ALL_ADM_RWX_WORLD_RWX_RES_RWX

(defined in wdmsec.h) NdisRegisterDeviceEx() suceeds and creates the

device with the symbolic link.

Attempting to look at the security if the device in WinObj.exe

(sysinternals) I get the error: 'Unable to open \device\GTNDIS0'

On the same laptop the Ndis 5.1 driver using NdisMRegisterDevice()

creates a device that can be opened by WinObj.exe and other

applications.

Any ideas anyone?
